Your travel to the german Bhole Baba Ashram
With the train
The first step of your journey is the central station of Cologne / Koeln from there you have to choose the S-Bahn line Koeln- Windeck/Au. Please step out at the station Eitorf.
From Eitorf it is now only 7km to the Bhole Baba Ashram in Rieferath, which you may walk by feet, if you do not have big luggage. It is a nice walk through the beautiful surrounding area:
- pass by Koettingen
- pass by Niedersotterbach
and after this small village take the right direction to Rieferath.
If you prefer to reach by car you can either order a taxi from Eitorf or the Ashram can arrange as well a chauffeur service for you. In this case, please contact us one day in advance, so that we can arrange to pick you up properly.

Another route to reach us starts again in Central Station Koeln / Cologne. You choose the train Koeln – Eitorf – Siegen, one station after Eitorf, in Herchen you have to get off the train. There is a special taxi service (Anruf-Sammel-Taxi) It has to be booked at least half hour before reaching the station Herchen, if you want to continue your journey without waiting too long.

The taxi leaves every two hours, same routine for the way back.
With the car coming from the north
Go via A3 direction Koeln/ Frankfurt, pass the interchange Bonn/Siegburg and take the exit Hennef-Ost.
After the light-signal-cross go on direction Waldbroel/Ruppichteroth, at the roundabout please go direction Herchen/Ennenbach.
After about 4,5 km you will have reached Rieferath.
With the car coming from the south
Go via A3 direction Frankfurt/Koeln, until the exit Eitorf.
Go through Eitorf - always straight onwards - you will pass a signal crossing, a train trail and a bridge. After the bridge at a t-cross, follow the right route to Koettingen. Continue on this road till the end (you will see a sign „Rieferath“), take left direction. In Rieferath, passing the small bridge, you keep left and you will automatically enter the village and find the Ashram happily.
You can park your car at the Kirtan-Hall.
Please notice that there is a resting time after lunch from 14:00 to 16:00 o’clock. If you arrive during this time, please do wait, have a look around the village and we are happy to welcome you later.
While preparing your journey, please notice as well, that the night rest starts at 22:00, so do not arrive later, please.
More important informations
For your stay please bring along warm socks, shoes like slippers, if possible a sleeping bag. A blanket would be also good for the ceremonies, morning time can be fresh.
